We did it!

Very exciting news to announce! The Search for Kennyboy has been accepted into the Buffalo-Niagara Film Festival. This was our first submission and first success! Hopefully it's not the last!

I want to thank everyone again for their hard work. It has paid off! We'll have more information as we get it.

Old time Kennyboy

Yield not to the overwhelming weight of hopelessness! We are going to submit Kennyboy to some film festivals. Final visual f/x are still going in, but we are at a point where we feel we can move forward. Keep your fingers crossed!

We've also been putting up some old material for people to see. This should be clear proof we were insane before you got to know us.

We have additional bodies working on effects! What can this mean? The emancipation of our vfx lead from his basement dungeon, free to breathe fresh air instead of the stale bytes of Kenny CG? Of course not. He remains at the mercy of our cruel will. It does mean our pace of progress has increased and that is a good thing.

Yankee Nuclear Apocalypse Strike

Apparently I hadn't updated the blog in awhile.

Lots has changed for me again, but Kenny slowly moves on. It is the glacier of cinematic destruction, moving slowly but soon all will be helplessly consumed by it.

I am cleaning up a few last things like burnishing some of the greenscreen keys. The film is taking on its final appearance. What remains are more final effect renders. Still can't say when, but this ship will someday reach shore.

Mixology

Long day working on the mix of Kennyboy. Really exciting to see the final audio come together. Jake, Josh and Brendan have been working hard the last few weeks and have done a fantastic job. They're great guys to work with and the movie is finally assuming its finished form. There's still a few more visual effects to work in, but hopefully that's coming along shortly.

It was a hard day of work, but the audio guys really did all the heavy lifting getting the film ready for the mix. Red Robin supplied any missing calories from the long day. Mike single-handedly made management reconsider their bottomless fries policy, while Patrick and I altered the time-milkshake continuum.
